Starter Removal

I have a 2001 sebring sedan with a bad starter in it. I need to remove it. What do I need to do to accomplish this task?

I had the same problem with mine. I spent hours trying to figure out how to get the damn thing out. Nothing made sense. I could only see the back end of the unit and that was about it.

Finally ended up taking it to the dealer. 1hr labour was all it took. I didn't get the chance to ask how they got it out as my wife picked up the car.

Sorry.
