Rear Disc Brake Problem-help needed!
My 96 Taurus Wagon, (non ABS, 4 Wheel disc), just failed inspection for the 2nd time. They said my rear brakes are not working right. The rear brakes are not grabbing much as compared to the front. I thought I had a bad caliper on the rear passenger side, the pads not wearing much at all, so I replaced that. The reinspection was pretty much the same.
Where do I go from here? |

I can't say that they have one, but most vehicles hae a porportioning valve, for the brake, it would be near the master cylinder, it controls how much pressure the front gets verses the rear. Your may definitly be stuck.
