Fuel Gauge

2000 Century fuel gauge problem. When I turn the inginition on and the gauge/instrument check comes on the fuel gauge reads properly. I then start the engine and drive a very short distance and the fuel gauge moves to the full or 3/4 full position and remains there until I shut of the engine. When the gas tank is full the gauge reads full, however anything less than 3/4 of a tank the gauge (after driving a short distance) does not read accurately. Thanks for any suggestions?

Re: Fuel Gauge

Fuel level sensor going bad...Also note that it's a part of the fuel pump module, so you may end up having to replace the whole thing.
