what is wrong with my car

I have a 1995 chevrolet beretta. It is really hard to explain what it is doing, but from about 10mph to 50 mph it jerks really bad, kind of like its not sure if it wants to shift gears or not. I took it to the chevrolet place and they kept it for about a week and once i got it back it is still acting up, they said they don't know what is wrong with it! HELP!!!!

Is the check engine light on and did they check to see if it is throwing any codes? And then I would start with checking censors and have them check the computer. My 91 acted up real bad they replaced a bunch of things and it was the computer there was a short in it.

yes, the check engine light is on and the chevrolet place kept it for 2 weeks and didn't know what was wrong with it but they sure charged me out the butt.

Does where you live ahave a Advanced Auto they test for free. Have them test your car and they will tell you what codes it is throwing and as long as know what they are doing they will tell you what is wrong.

Could be your transmission control module? I believe the TCM is located inside the trans on or near the valve body! Check the error codes.
