Phoenix Gold Octane-R 6.5 comp Speaks in 93 Civic

I've bought 6.5 component speaks and 6.5 coaxs for my 93 civic. Problem is, they don't fit. The drum well (that's what i'm calling it, the metal conical partfrom rim to magnet) has too big a diameter, and does not fit into either the back screw holes, or the front baffles.
I've solved the rear: buy a spacer and dril new holes in honda.
For the front: It just won't fit! First off, the "well" in the baffle is too shallow, and the holes it has are exactly on a 14.2mm diameter circle, where the holes on the speaks are exactly on a 15.5mm diameter circle. the baffle is made to accomadate 6.5's however. so, what do i do!? can i make some kind of wood spacer and liquid nail it to the baffle, and drill new holes for the speaks? i don't think it would work out well though, as it would protrude from kickpanel a lot. thanks ahead.

the drum well is called the basket and you have to use a spacer.

i thought about the spacer, but then how am i gonna align the holes? as i said, the holes are off-set from eachother by about a mm. do they sell baffles that would fit my honda? or do i just buy some baffle, and drill new holes in the door?
