Unhappy Depressed brake leaks air.Help

When depressing my brakes on my 1991 s-10,the sound of air comes from underneath my dashboard,and my engine idles higher.Help

Sounds like your brake booster has an internal leak.

It's pretty easy to fix, and the wreckers should be full of them

Yea ,just got done messing with it and it's the darndest thing to tacke,would you suggest I go to the junk yard or just spend 85 dollars and replace it?

It's the only brake part that I would replace with a used one. And that's because they very rarely give any problems.

Just a guess but it's probably about $15-$20 at an autowreck. You might have to pull it off the truck for that price.
