Question Spring&Shock Ques.

I've asked this before but I want to get it straight. I want to lower my car(civic coupe), but I dont want to spend too much. I'm paying my way through college so there isn't money to blow. I want to get sportlines but I understand you need aftermarket shocks for them. Someone told me that I didnt need shocks with them. Is he right? I dont want to get a prokit when I could've bought sportlines.

you'll need new struts, no exceptions. and stock or stock replacement struts wont do.

yeah i had sportlines on with stock shocks for about one week, then bought new shocks.. the stock shocks will eventually blow, people tell me that in about 6 months the stock shocks would be totally shot

And I can vouch for them, I've been dropped for over a year about 2.5-3 inches on stock blown shocks, and ride quality is complete shit.
