Question Center Grille Replacement

Can anyone advise if you have to cut the center grille out of 2005 Yukon to replace it, or is it simply held in by screws? The dealer told me that it's one peice and the center can't be removed. The manufacturer of the billet grille states its a direct replacement. Which ones right? Please let me know!!!!

It depends on the manufacturer, but you can find "bolt-over" grilles where you cover the logo or with a cutout for the GMC. I bought a "bolt-over" billet grille that covers the logo, it took only about 10 minutes to install and it looks great!

grill

I installed a grill on my 2003 - you gotta cut out the center black part. Carefully - and put some tape over the chromed plastic first, everything, and I mean EVERYTHING that touches the chrome will scratch it. Read the directions several times and look at the grill before starting - takes about 45 mins to an hour. I posted photos of my Yukon with the grill previously if you do a search on BILLET GRILLS you will find it......
