change oil light

Hey i have a 2000 trans am with the ls1. I have 33,000 on it and that change oil light came on. I was wondering how do you reset that light?

I can't remember how....been so long for me.

Check the owner's manual, I know it is in there.

almost all GM's you turn the key to the on position, pump the gas pedal to the floor three times, and wait for it to flash. Then start the car and it should go out. If that doesnt work, check the manual...heh.

Ya thanx but i just read the manual, and most of the gm cars you do do that. But on this on u have to turn the car on the on position, and hold down the trip thing on the mile for 12sec until the light goes off.
