What is the best 3000GT/Stealth?

I have 9500 bucks I am thinking about getting a sports car. What is the best 3000GT/Stealth I can get?

vr-4 is the twin turboed 3kgt not shure about the stealth tho. I know their is a tt version for the stealth just not shure of the name.
I don't think 9.5k will get u a vr-4 that is in very good shape tho. You can afford a nice lookin sl that is in good shape.

$9500 will get you a decent TT Stealth any year or a pre-94 VR4. If you want a 2nd gen 3000GT, you could get a 94+ SL or base...99 being the best year.

i would go with a stealth just because they are pretty rare. you see more 3ks around than you see stealths....in my town you do anyway.

on the stealth it usually says twinturbo on the car, for the 3kgt it would say vr4. those are the fastest models, to call it the best models is all in what you like

Also depends on what he wants to do. If he wants to go crazy modified horse power the 2nd gens would have a slight nod b/c its 4 bolt instead of 2 but then again teh 1st gens are lighter. And the stealths are always lighter 3kgt. So its all in the eye of teh beholder.

hey twisted i didn't mean to guess. In fact i know that you can't get a good vr-4 for 9.5k. My idea of good shape must be quite diff from yours. My idea of a good vr-4 is in perfect shape with less than 70k miles. I'm sorry that i take pride in what i drive and don't want to drive a P.O.S. like you. I'm shure you can get one for 9.5 as long as you don't mind the faded paint, dints, torn up interier, and high miles. It didn't stop twisted.

Look on Ebay...check autotrader...even check Kelley Blue Book for the national average....excellent condition under 70k first gen VR-4's go for under $10k. So does almost any TT Stealth with over 50k on it.

Wow your smart this is the only vr-4 with less than 70k mi on ebay but guess what its over 17k and the other vr-4s are buy it now for 15k... hmm looks like you need to do some research. But you are rite about the kbb. too bad no one sells for that.

Just to clarify...KBB takes an average of the price that every car sold for over that time period...so to say no one sells for that is an oxymoron.

And that Ebay one for $17k, notice there's no one bidding, even with all the extras on it. Because it's worth nowhere near that much.
