2000 Nissan Skyline R 34 V-Spec

today looking through ebay motors I found this 2000 Nissan Skyline R 34 V-Spec for $6000(buy it now) and it has 34000KM(21000miles). Heres the link Skyline

I live about 1200 miles from Florida, but I am going there later this month. My question is, does this car sound like a good deal or to good to be true deal? I know some Skylines are hard to come by, this one sounds, from the description, pretty hopped up . What you all think? Any imput os greatly appreciated and Thanks in advance, XI

Re: 2000 Nissan Skyline R 34 V-Spec

I thought I was in the US forum sorry, move my aass over....What i was refering to is in the USA already, at least that is what I got out of the AD. I hav emailed the person selling the car and he has not yet reply'd. Now what I've read in ur list of posts is no one can bring in a none DOT approved car. What about cars that are already here?

Re: 2000 Nissan Skyline R 34 V-Spec

I dont mean to reiterate, but It was a scam! the sale was cancel'd by ebay, but check this out. The guy accually emailed me back with the low down on the deal(scam).

I asked these questions, so you still selling the Skyline R 34? How is it that you aquired a non DOT aproved car? I know these are are to find street legal. I will be in the Gainsville area in two or three days. I would like to see the car , where could we meet? thankx

Here's what he said;

Hi,
For the payment , I've choosed money transfer , because this way the funds will be available the same day you will make the transfer.
The most important thing in all my activity here is that I am affiliated at Square Trade , I have a a purchase protection account for 10.000.00$ and I assume you know what this means.How you are protected by Square Trade , in case we have a deal:
1) If you will not receive the car as i described to you,although this is not the case, Square Trade will refund you with 100% from the whole amount which you paid me.Even in case you will not receive the car,they will refund you the money.
2) You can send the money to my name and address but you will not give me the details from the payment.You will give the details to Square Trade.They will verify the payment and if is ok,if the money exist and are availble under my name they will notify me to proceede with the shipping.
After you receive and see that the car is the one you want,you just notify Square Trade (by email) and ask them to forward me the payment details in order for me to pick up my money.
Square Trade willl NOT revile the trasfer details until you willl confirm them that the car is what you have expected and arrived at your home addresss in perfect order.
Let me know if this is ok with you,so that we can move forward with this deal!

Regards!Steven Holt
Sounds like a rip off for sure!
