2001 lesabre rear window operation

Hello out there. Does any have or know the exact loop/track that the braided wire runs from the window motor up along the track and back down for this car? My rear window will not stay up, the motor seems to run fine. The motor pulls the window down, but has a problem pulling up,the wire just seems to come out of the motor and creates a big loop.
Obviously the slack is not being taken up or held on top, so the window slides back down. I cannot figure where the wire came off or undone, and how to slip it back in the correct spot. If anyone has a diagragm or picture to email, it would be appreciated. This seems simple enough to fix, but I don't know the exact track for the wire to follow.
thanks, KJN

IF ANYONE GETS THIS MESSAGE, PLEASE EMAIL BACK, I AM STUMPED, AND REALLY DON'T WANT TO TURN TO THE DEALER FOR HELP.
THANKS

KJN,
I have a 2000 LeSabre that I had the same trouble with the right rear window. The dealers cost was high, even for the part around &350.00., so I located a site that I was able to send my whole unit back (including motor ), and they replaced the cable and was shipped back all for $ 85.00, with a turn around time in about a week..Although you had to pay the shipping to them, but it was the cheapest solution I had found.Go to www.onetobuy.bizland.com..hope this helps.

thanks for the help. I will contact them, and send unit back. I really appreciate your threaded answer. What a rip off dealers are getting for this kind of thing. If GM had made a quality unit in the first place, this would not have been happening to all of us.............
