e and h compatable(sp)?

would a wiring harness from an engine vin code "H" engine work on an engine vin code "E" engine

87 camaro for the h
89 camaro for the e

An '87 with an "H" engine code indicated the LG4, which is carburated, so no, it would not work. To run the throttle body injection you would need a harness out of a car with the "E" engine code.
