Celica GT-S vs. Scion tC *VIDEO*

I've been away from AF for a few months now.. thought I'd come back with a kill story/vid. At the time of the vid, I had an ebay intake and tpr exhaust. I also had two passengers in my car and a full tank of gas... so as expected my car was running extremely slow. Guy in a tC tries to do a flyby but doesn't succeed.

Good to see back here again. Funny vid. I've wanted to take a stab at a few TC's myself. But I've yet to come across one that wants to race. Anyway, welcome back.

I love those Tc's but people around here are making me despise them more and more. Of course a guy at my school has to go to 6k in first around the parking lot. He even told people the tc stands for turbocharged.

Nice race by the way...good kill, just wish I could have raced you in my RSX

Wow VIP09 14.7 is a crazy fast stock time for a gts car and driver tested them at 15.25 how did you manage that time. "not tryting to flame just curious"

Shifting very very quickly at 8400rpms and landing as high as you can on every shift will get you 14.7 in a stock gt-s. Myself and I think 3 or 4 others have done it and have backed it up with slips. I ran my 14.7 with heavy 17" wheels and a 2.3 60'.. I think I could have gotten a 14.6 if I had the stock 16" wheels and a better launch. I can get 2.1 60's now.

*Edit: Pretty much all the magazine times for GT-S's were obtained shifting at the redline (7800rpms).. you have to shift right before the reve limiter at 8400rpms to get the most out of it.
