Progress of my car.. been away for a while *pics and vids*

I haven't read AF for a couple months... since then I've done lots to my car... I think last time I posted I had just gotten my TPR Exhaust put on and an eBay CAI. Here are my mods since then:

First I switched from the ebay CAI to the TPR CAI.. i'll post some pics of it later.

I installed a Zeitronix Wideband o2 meter.....









And why in the world would I need a wideband o2 meter??

Apex'i Power FC - standalone engine management





I also have installed KYB AGX struts with TEIN S-Tech springs. This lowered the car about 1.4".. ill get some pics up soon.


About 3 months ago, I hit a dead dog going about 100mph. It caused my wings west front lip to bend downwards and it scraped the road until I came to a stop. It had about an inch deep hole worn away.. probably 8 inches long.. it was scraped up really bad in other places also. I was able to get the front lip repaired at a decent price. I just got it back on last week. Here are the results:













I've also polished my headlights and installed HID's. I got the 8000K's.. they look amazing. I'll have pics up shortly of the HID's. Here's how the polished headlamp came out:






I also bought a sony dvd camcorder.. so guess what?? Lots of racing vids coming soon! Here's a teaser: Me with ebay intake and tpr exhaust vs. scion tc. I had two passengers and a full tank of gas.. so my car was running extremely slow.

That looks a lot like a FMIC, is it an aluminum radiator?

lol so that's what you look like. Nice, show that bloated tC that it needs to get on a weight loss diet like the celicas. How is the Power FC working out for you? When you get smogged do you have to switch back? And do you know if stuff like Auto Tapp works on it?

That looks damn clean. Silvers the best looking color for 7th gens imo. What did you use to polish the headlights aluminum polish?

Dude.. I live in alabama.. what's a smog check??? The Power FC is awesome.. I can change ANYTHING. I can change the fuel map, ignition timing, valve timing.. rev limiter, when lift kicks on and off. I can log data.. pull up graphs and stuff on my laptop.. there's so much stuff to do with it..

I found some stuff at Auto Zone called optical polish/cleaner. It comes with a bit that you attach to a drill. It also comes with foam pads with some kind of polymer on one side.. you stick the foam pad to the drill bit and polish away.. add water. Came out really nice... they used to be really hazy. Not bad for 12 bux

haha same here we dont do smog checks here in the south. lol.
that fc sounds nice how much power do you think its giving you?

I haven't had enough time to tune it yet.. i'll get on the dyno soon though and post the results.

lol, @#$%@!, damn we have to go through smog checks all the time, the only break we get is if the car is 30 years old, then we don't have to worry about emissions. I was wondering since if I was to get the engine swap I was thinking that I could work a deal with the shop and have them install a FC instead of giving me the factory ECU, but then I was thinking I might need it for, well us CA people, smog check =/ I evny you guys out there.
