JDM 4g63t
i have a 91 Eagle Talon TSi AWD automatic with a little over 200k miles, and ive had it for about a month or so, got it for $450, has good body and interior just a bad motor that needs some parts and a rebuild, ive been considering a JDM 4g63t for it because it would be alot more reliable, cost less, and give me more hp.
www.a1jdmengines.com has a package deal that is: 4g63 T 1G 90-91 6 bolt Engine and 5 spd AWD transmission with transfer case for $1549 u.s., i need to know what other parts i would need to convert my talon to manual. is this all a good idea? or should i just try to rebuild the old motor? |

Re: JDM 4g63t
I think it depends on your plans with it. If I were doing it as a daily driver with a little extra power, I would just rebuild it. But if your going for an extreme powerhouse, I'd just go and buy the 6 bolt with the awd and a manual tranny all ready to go... Thats just me though, I'm lazy like that sometimes.
Also, lots of people have built up some pretty powerful automatics if you decided to go that route... Just my two cents though.

Re: Re: JDM 4g63t
This may sound dumb, but is the engine that you have the link to a brand new engine or is it used judging by there pictures of engines and other parts, they seem to be used or on a garage floor looking used at least idk.
