suspension upgrades
i have a 93 firebird formula wi the Trans Am performace package. i want to upgrade the suspension and was wondering what components i should begin with and what brand parts are recomended. i was thinking of starting wi struts springs and ends, rather than sway bars. but any suggestions would be great.

Re: suspension upgrades
Well you want to stiffen things up they apply better wheel pressure to the road with high performance shocks,. I would recommend double diamond sub frame connectors, strut tower brace (I run just a two point but the 3 points are suppose to be the best) , then some performance shocks such as the QA1 or KYB followed maybe by a larger sway bar and a panhard bar. You will definetly being handling a ton better than the solid rear will IMO not feel as sturdy in turns as a IRS car but you will be much better off handling wise, thats for sure
