why?

I just wanted to ask why someone decided to sub name the web site to Automotive Forums.com Car CHAT, as CHAT sticks like a sore thumb on my servers so now I can't access at work?

Re: why?

I don't understand thatt either... especialy since we used to get in trouble here for going off topic because this "is a forum not a chatroom"

Thats funny as hell. Sounded something like Jim would say.

Also I want to know why the hell it was named car chat, maybe in the Camaro section but anywhere else if it goes too offtopic it gets locked!

Re: why?

Well, its because the server here has grown and the community now is huge and instead of before when it was a few people that logged on to make a few posts. You have members chatting back and forth in threads, hence the chat. If it is creating firewall issues so that members can't access AF at work though, I will bring that up to one of the admins.

Yes he should, but his work might be like Link's work where he slacks off all the time and when he does what he is suppost to do he gives it his 110%! Or like Jeremy (Goldz28) where he is an EMT, so he doesnt have much to do sometimes during his sleepless nights.

If there was a job wanting a highschool student, I would have one. But every job wants someone thats 18 or older that is availiable. So its not like I dont want one.

Re: why?

oh, and if no body was looking they probably wouldn't notice, however on systems tracker it clearly labels the window as AF.com car chat. I dub bed it from a seperate work station and looked my running applictions up, the joys of admin powers.

I could black mail the IS guys by e mailing htem a list of how many porn sites they frequesnt.
