Updated!: Eclipse Spyder Replica

It has been a while since I have done any work on this project. I have had about 5 different projects going at one time but I have finally made some progress. I'm still not done with the car yet. I still need to clearcoat and polish the body, and add some details to the body, finish and detail the engine compartment, and some misc. things. I need to buy some styrene so i can finally finish my bumper. I should be rapping this model up soon!

I would greatly appreciate comments!

Here are some new and old pictures:

lookin nice so far. I think using Fujimi porsche 911 rims would be more accurate than the revell ones.

Is that a revell kit? Nice build for sure, my revell integra has the same airfilter setup and everything as that, models always seem like they drag them selfs out longer then planned.

I am pretty sure that he tooks lots of motor parts from the revell integra kit, because in the eclipse's kit, the motor is the turbo one (4g63) and the one vanilla gorilla is building is the NA motor (4G64).

Nice build, can't wait to see the final result. Which bumper did you take too make this one? The blitz one?

There is one thing I don't like in the revell kit and it's the taillights. Is it me, or they don't even looks like the true one?

The tail lights are accurate. (I own an Eclipse too)

The front bumper is looking good and the roof modification is nice and clean. I agree that Porsche wheels might look more accurate, at least compared to those Revell ones. They will be wider than those Revell rubber bands too, which will make the car look a million times better.

Re: Updated!: Eclipse Spyder Replica

Thanks for all the comments. I'm glad that my project is appreciated.
As for the engine, yes I did take the intake manifold from the integra, but I removed the air filter from it and replaced it with the MASS and K&N filter from the eclipse intake. I also used the header from the integra.
The front bumper started out as a blitz unit. I still need to get some styrene so I can finish it.
The taillights are styled like the real car and they are about as accurate as you could expect from Revell.
