exhaust
I got some $ and im lookin to put a nice, deep sounding muffler on my 93 integra. I've heard good things about the N1 mufflers with and without the silencer and was thinkin bout gettin one. Which size would u recommend? Can't i just put the muffler on and not have to change the entire exhaust, or would that sound way shitty? Also any thing else anyone could recomend to make it purr?

Re: exhaust
you could go cheap and just get the muffler but if u want a decent sound you should go and get the cat back system.....ive heard good things about the apexi n1 exhaust systems...i have the greddy evo2 and its nice and deep..http://www.team-integra.net/sections...?ArticleID=451 ....heres some soundclips of many different integra exhausts

Some of those sound pretty tight, but only a few are available for the '93. The guy I got this car from just replaced the whole middle pipe, but sounds like I'm gonna have to get full cat back anyways. Does cat back exhaust really give you more hp? I could see it helpin with flow, but idk about extra hp.

Re: exhaust
Power gains from a catback exhaust system usually are aound 2-5 hp depending on a lot of variables. Intake, header, and exhaust have given about 7.5 hp and 7.5 torque to a 1998 GSR in this article "http://importtuner.com/powerpages/0407it_ppintegra/"
This is an interesting article. They even show the dyno's for the mods they do.
