93 Conti won't charge battery...
Guys, I'm posting in both areas because I'M ABOUT TO GO NUTS!!! My 93 Conti w/3.8 won't charge the battery. I've replaced the alternator, voltage regulator, and battery twice... and it still won't put out any amps. I've cleaned the battery terminals and grounds but it still won't charge. Any help appreciated.

When you say your battery is not holding a charge, is it when you go to start it, and it wont start? I had a friend that thought there battery was not holding a charge, but it turned out to be that the rear defrost button was engaged, and that was draining the battery, when the car was sitting. Have you taken your car to some place like autozone where they can do a free electrical check.

Found It!!!
Homeskillet, Don't Laugh...while going to check the wiring from the alt to the battery, I discovered the wires had pulled back from the plug on the alt. It was hard to see but they pulled back far enough to not contact the prongs inside the alt. Pushed the wires back in and it registered over 14.4 output...I guess lesson learned for me "be careful pulling out the alt plugs!
