car starting problems

My car recently shut down on me going 100 km/h on the hwy and I found out that my coil was bad. I got that fixed and was told that my car needed a new rotor and distributor. Fine so I replaced those when the parts arrived and the car runs great WHEN IT STARTS. Now when I try to start it all the lights come on the dash and thats it, no cranking no nothing. Once I keep on cranking the key, the car will start and will run perfectly fine. Well I replaced most of what I think is the problem but it might be my timing or a bad starter. Anyways It seems to be getting worse and I really don't need this happening right now. Any insight is appreciated.
