Here is the service schedule for the 98 Civic under severe conditions:
![]() How come on the page below you have to remove the drain bolt in step 4? Why can't you just unscrew the drain plug as shown in step 3? If I do need to remove the drain bolt in step 4, is that the oil filter next to the bolt? ![]() Since I am going to replace the transmission fluid can I jump to step 3 or do I have to remove the oil filler plug shown in step 1? My next Q: where the hell are these 2 plugs located? How the hell do you add the transmission fluid back? Can't be through the filler plug since it looks to be going into the side of the engine??? ![]() Hopefully, this will help a lot of us out and save you all some $$. I may start scanning more and posting other things from the book. If you have any requests PM me and I'll see what I can do!

sweet dude, haynes manual sucks my left nut compared to these instructions!
post the stuff for replacing your driveaxles and replacing the clutch master cylinder, and if ya feeling nice, post all the troubleshooting pages too
