Question What is this?

Below is a picture I took today while doing an oil change..... I have never noticed this bung before. It has a threaded female end on top. What is it for?

Thanks,
Jake

Re: What is this?

That is where your Oil Cooler Lines leave the block and go to the Radiator..

Go to my Car Domain Site and I posted a picture of my lines and filter.

Re: What is this?

Hey Jethro,
Is that custom built pipe you made for your intake? Or is it a kit. Sure makes your engine compartment a lot more roomy with that intake system and the Electric Fans.

Re: What is this?

True Flow Air Intake System. True Flow

Replaces the filter and the tube between the Throttle Body and the MAS. Little louder when in the throttle and can definitely tell a difference on get up and go....

Got it on eBay and the seller was in Montana so I had him hold onto it for 3 weeks until I got up there this summer. Sweet deal.

Ok, well there is only one hole. Where would the return line go?

Re: What is this?

Find someone with a HD, they have the cooling lines stock on theirs already. '03 and up are a little different.
