Stall Converter Size? Help!

I'm not exactly sure what size stall converter to go with , i have a 98 Trans Am, planning on modding it, the car is my daily driver, and of course i'm trying to get the best track time out of it. if anyone could fill me in on what type and size stall converter to go with, that'll help me out thx

If so, 2800-3200.
