Just got back from the track

Ok went to the track today with stock turbo 10PSI pulled some damn good times for what i was running.. Here they are.

RT... .577
60'... 2.285
1/8... 9.683
MPH... 76.20
1000... 12.463
1/4... 14.760
MPH... 96.57

Pretty fucking good for being 10PSI on a T25. I almost got a .500 RT but red lighted and got a .499 i was pissed missed it by an ass hair.

Re: Just got back from the track

Why are you just running 10 psi? Thats lower than stock. Did i miss something here? You should be able to go alot faster than that on the T25. Unless your breaking something in by only running 10 psi. They claim 14.9 to 15.1 is stock. My AWD might have helped me but i ran a 13.7 on a T25. But GL man with rest

Re: Just got back from the track

Like I said. Got traction? Look at his trap speed, it is only 2mph slower than your 98mph.

Re: Just got back from the track

but it doesnt say what else he has done to the car. So he could be running a full exhaust and or what not so.... And why the hell you are running 10psi i can't even guess. If that is your car in the picture there i hope your not running a t25 on that huge intercooler.

Re: Just got back from the track

First off there is no problem running an bigger intercooler with small turbo your stupid if you think so!

10 PSI WHY you ask. Because i felt like it lol I was wanting to see how close i could get to this time i hear you can't break with stock turbo. Also i think with good tires i could have got out the hole better my tires are on there last leg! Got traction? NO. Also i was very close to full weight and alittle over 3/4 tank of gas.. next weekend i think i am going back gutted with 12 psi.

I sprayed my intercooler with C02 before i lined up with my friends bottle and pulled a trap of 105.57 but that was just a play run.

Other mods (that night) 8.5 wires, plugs, full 3" no cat, FIPK, evo8 intercooler, hard pipes, 1G bov, SAFC, CFDF, Fidanza flywheel, fidanza shafts, tokico shocks, Springs, pistons, rods, and valve springs.

This is not the set up i run all the time i am just playing with stuff before i put the 2.3 6bolt in for good which is powered by a 60-1..

DA was around 3500

Re: Just got back from the track

Running that big of an intercooler won't necessarily hurt him. Yes, it will take longer to fill that thing with air, but maybe just a few hundred rpm. Obviously, he won't be in that range at the track anyway.

That IS my hook up from my buddy that does all the motors for the circle track crowd. No one else around here will do it, but this guy also does mitsu forklifts (4g64) so it's my only choice. I am trying to talk him into doing some head work too. He has a flow bench and everything.
