are h22 parts interchangable with h23 parts

I got a 95 lude SE and im looking to do some mods, i cant find ne parts for an h23 engine and i dont have money to do and engine swap.....the only parts i could find were for h22s......all my friends r telln me to buy h22 parts and i dont no if they will fit or will they..??? can ne one help me out????

Certain parts fit. Intakes generally fit with no problem. Headers don't fit. Exhausts don't fit without hanger modification.

what kind of parts are you looking for. the only thing that you should be having problems finding is cams, turbos and superchargers. I think that Crane cams will costom grind your cams for about $800. you wont find a supercharger for it. Turbo kits are available, but hard to find. Check ebay for some things.

you could run type-s pistons to boost the compression. It'd be pretty high tho.

im just looking for headers,exhaust cams and turbos...n e thing that would make my car go faster without don an engine swap id like to keep my h23 but parts are hard to find and ebay isnt really a help most/all the parts on that site are for h22s

by the sounds of it, you have no idea what you wanna do to your car and your out looking to waste money.
