88dx--->sohc ZC swap questions! help me!

hi, i just bought a 1988dx hatch back, 1.5 sohc 5spd, now, i have a 91 jdm sohc ZC motor, and i had a few quick questions, 1. i have a 91 civic SI ecu, and wiring harrnis, that will work perfect with the ZC right? and 2. should i get a 91 SI tranny too, for the zc? are the gear ratios diffent between a dx and a si 5spd? thanx for looking! if u have any other tips on the swap let me know! peaCe

Re: 88dx--->sohc ZC swap questions! help me!

i found it easier to modify the dx harness. just look up on the mpfi swap to find out how. and i have the same setup 88 dx w/sohc zc and i kind of like the dx tranny especially on the highway. i've taken 3rd gear to 185 kph i think thats around 110 mph or something but thats with at 8500 rpm redline. if your gonna be going light to light most of the time i'd go with the si tranny.
