I used to use Mobil Super all the time, and then I tried regular and I never went back. Give it a try and I can almost guarantee you won't feel a difference in performance.

I have heard that all the extra detergents in the higher octane gases can eat away at our fuel lines because they were designed for 87.

mobil?!!?! i'd piss in my gas tank and hope it'd burn before i'd put that shit in my car.........fucking GARBAGE "gas" - shits like 90% water, 5% oil, and 5% rust from the tank it gets pumped from.

in NY: *ONLY* hess. in NC, i like Petro Express... or did. how can you not like someone who has 108 octane pumps next to the 98? (i think it was 108...maybe 106, or 103)

And then both of you guys w/ you sewing maching powered cars get passed by a moped w/ a 5hp Engine and he goes on to put 5 car lengths on you. Racing an EX vs a DX is like a 10 speed bike vs a golden retriever.

I use regular. I would only run premium if I was at like 11:1 CR. You can probably safely run 11.5:1 on premium until you start having problems with detonation. With a piddly SOHC, you don't need to waste the extra money it costs for premium. Hell, I get 390 miles/tank on regular so you can throw the extra gas milage theory out the window. It would probably cost me $100 a year to buy premium instead to no benefit of me. I would rather give $100 to charity than to bunch of monopolists.
