Re: snow tires wanted
I suggest you rethink this. Depending on how "used" the snow tires are, you might be disappointed with their performance. I'm not sure on the Michelins, but with Blizzaks, if they were driven much on dry pavement, their performance in snow will degrade in a hurry. Even if they don't look worn. I've heard it has something to do with a very soft compound on the outer surface of the tread blocks.
Also, you really need to have one snow tire on each corner for proper operation. Sure, you will get some benefit from having just snow tires on the front of a front wheel drive car, but in a panic stop you risk the backend of the car coming around on you. And how often do you need to perform panic stops in snow? My bet is quite often.
Look at the cost of 4 Blizzak WS-50 snow tires in the size you are looking for. I bet you can get all four for less than the cost of your insurance deductible.
