Heater core fitting

I just bought a 1999 Z-71 and one of the fittings that attaches to the heater core is broken. (The heater core line is metal and then there is a plastic fitting that goes on it, then the hose goes on the plastic fitting.)

well the plastic fitting broke and i cant figure out how to get the fitting off of the heater core line. Anyone know how to get it off??

Thanks
