My son paid $800 for a 1985 continental with 100,000 miles on it last year. He has 141,000 now and so far has redone the brakes, an O2 sensor, and an air charge sensor. He also replaced the air suspension but that won't be an issue on a truck.

Re: f-150 cheap

I just bought a 92 F150 for basically $1200. Needs some minor work, such as fixing the e-brake and fuel pump work on both tanks, but not bad. Its a 92 F150 4x4 5.0L, manual trans, short bed standard cab, and a 4" lift. 63000 original miles, but was rolled a few years back. Salvage title.
