Higher compression....spark?
Do you want a cooler plug with a higher compression motor??
Stock is 10.1:1 compression, and the NGK TR55's work perfect. New motor is 11:1 compression. Thinking I will try the NGK TR55's once and the NGK TR6's once. The TR6 is a cooler plug. Opinions??

Re: Higher compression....spark?
I'm thinking you want to run a cooler plug. Higher compression engines require higher octane fuels to resist detonation, right? So I would assume you want a plug a bit cooler, to prevent pre-ignition?

Re: Higher compression....spark?
Also you will ping all the way on 94. I would go with cooler ones

Re: Higher compression....spark?
I will be able to run 91 at this altitude with no ping. Plus, the quench is tight enough to help avoid detonation.
Premium alone will be good enough. Too much more and I am asking for problems.
