intirior lights not working on my 97 sub

i cant seem to get the intirior lights to work on my 97 suburban, i've checked the fuses and they seem fine!
any ideas please?

i have a 99 sub. same body style i found the switch on the left side of the dash on mine was bad and the lights wouldnt work till i replaced the little switch. I fiqured it out buy hitting around and maybe on the switch and they turned on. Make sure the overide button for the lights is turned on by the light swirch.

i will try a new switch, not that easy to get in the uk though!
