greddy bov HELP!

hey i just got a used greddy type s (purple one) bov and put it on my car but i dont think its working right. when i let off throttle at low rpms and boost (10psi and lower)i hear this flapping/fluttering noise coming from the intake filter (bov is vented to atmosphere wehn doing this so its not hte bov its gotta be the turbo). ive set the bov on its softest setting and the flapping/fluttering is still there even when most of the compressed air is released. does anybody know what flapping/fluttering noise from the turbo means???? also the bov doesnt make long whhhhooossshhh its very short and precise meaning its not lettin all the air out.

Keep it recirculated and see if it clears it up. You should always have it recirculated unless you do it the proper way with a MAFt setup.

Re: greddy bov HELP!

do you want it a little tighter when you went?

did you plug up the recirculator whole in the intake?

did you try and recirculate and see if it helps?

Re: greddy bov HELP!

it makes the fluttering noise from the intake filter with the bov venting to atmosphere or recir. i just vented it to see if the bov was fluttering or if it was soemthing else. and its coming from the turbo.

just found this... what do you guys think... "The 2nd port can be used to help lift up the diaphragm under low vacuum conditions. If you are experiencing surge before your pressure release, hook up the 2nd port to your turbo pressure line. The vaccum at the top of the diaphragm and the boost pressure under the diaphragm will help it open faster. Keep in mind that the valve will not stay open as long using this method, so the sound will not be as loud."

what is the turbo pressure line??? im guessing any pressure source in the ic piping?
