How do the Lindberg kits stand up as far as quality ? Are they similar to Revelle,Amt, better, worse? Thanks in advance.

Well, Lindberg's later efforts (the 1964 Chrycos, the 1961 Impalas, the 1953 Ford Vickie, and the 1966 Chevelle) are all very good kits with only a few quirks in the accuracy or fit/finish department.

However, many of Lindberg's releases are reissues of either IMC or Palmer (two defunct brands from WAY back in modeling's past) kits. Their run of classic cars (1948 Lincoln Continental, Auburn Speedster, Cord 812) were originally Palmer kits from the early 60's.

They have raised panel lines, incorrect engines, and inaccurate contours, and basically everything is wrong with them.

The IMC re-issues are a fair sight better. Their Cougar II kit (a Mercury concept from 1963 that was a luxury GT version of the 289 Shelby Cobra) had a ton of working features (that were very difficult to get to function) and their Little Red Wagon (the famous wheelstanding Dodge pickup) was phenomeonal.

It's a pick and choose situation. Some can be very fun builds, some can try your patience, and some are just downright awful.
