Best place to take a Road Trip in Cali

Now I know you're all SoCal cats and you would all be content living in the 200 mile radius that is LA and SD, BUT I also know that you all have another favorite place in Cali besides that little bubble.

If you were to take a road trip to somewhere in California this summer, where would it be (and if you are already planning on going to HIN then humor me)

Probably Frisco.

I'll probably go to those two places too.

And Vallejo and Reno, oh, and my crew is renting a beach house up in Oregon for the week before I drive down to HIN

Reno's in Nevada.

Vallejo is okay. Actually other than Frisco I'm kind of partial to Yosemite.

Really you can do just about anything in California. Except gambling... but that's what Nevada is for.

Reno might as well be in Cali, everyone goes there. So excuse me. hehehe
I'm actually going camping in Yosemite as well this summer, I forgot. I like going camping in Sequoia, Mammoth, and Carpinteria as well.
You can gamble here in the indain casinos. I can actually gamble there 'cause you only have to be 18. Jackson is only like 45 minutes away from me, so we go there a lot.

OMG, Carpinteria! You know what, I may not be going there this summer, we don't have any reservations in for it this year, and you know how you have to have them in like 6 months in advance. Damn parents' LOL! But anywho, I like camping up in Kings Canyon, we usually go there almost every summer too, and if I could road trip anywhere this summer, I know it's not far or anything, but I'm itching to go back up to the big Santa Barbara. I LOVE it up there, I wouldn't mind living there one day either.

We took the 1 down from SF on the way back to LA, through Big Sur, quite a nice drive, even if it was in a rented Lancer. I missed driving a manual on all those curvy cliffs...

I think just about anywhere in southern CA PCH is a great drive, just watch for speedtraps...
