Unhappy Trany... HELP!

Hi all! I need some help.
I got my 95 Cavy 2 door about 4 months ago, it worked fine for at least 2 months, then the problems rolled in.
Got most of em fixed, sept this.

It kept acting up when ever I go to switch from drive to revers.

It will be normal and go from one gear to the other no prob.

then sometimes like to day it will slow down wile I'm driving and then be fine, then when I stop and go to switch from drive to park it wont move, wont change gear. then u see me doing this> on the stearing weel.
lmao.

So here is what happened today.
First I got my car back from the shop. got the hoses all checked and the tranny flushed.
Now it does need a new bottum hose for the radiator cuz it leeks a little.

then I drove home. Worked fine.

The drove back ot town and back home again.
this time it wasnt workign so good.

So I parked my car in the yard and saw I parked crooked so I pute it in revers, it didnt go.
So I pute it in drive, still didnt go.
So back to park and back to drive and back to revers again.
still WONT GO TO GEAR!!!!
So I pute in drive and helpd the gas down for about 2 mins till it JUMPED into gear and whent forword, then when I pute it in park, it still whent forword, then the same in revers and every other gear there is.

So after i yelled and screamed and said WTF 50 times it started going again. so now I ask you all..... WTF!?!?!?!?!?!?

So my trany going bad?
and if it is... how much would a new or an old one cost!?!?!??!

oh and it's an Automatic.

Re: Trany... HELP!

Check the shift interupter on the shifter mechanism. It keeps you from shifting out of park unless your foot is on the brake. It may be out of adjustment. Good Luck.
