taillight gasket melted, help
I have a Nissan Sentra SE 94 and the rubber gasket between tail light and body was melted. The problem is that water can go through the melted rubber seal into truck when I drived in rainning. How do I fix this problem? Is there any rubber gasket available in the market, or this rubber seal (gasket) is fixed in the tail light so that I have to replace the whole lamp unit? Can anyone help me out?

Re: taillight gasket melted, help
water in the taillight wont make it pop like a headlight, but if you want cheap, go get a tube of the stuff used to put on windshields. itll seal the best.

don't use urethane that is intended for a windshield, fix it with either a new gasket or replace the unit (you can get one at a junkyard for about 5 bucks, or atleast i can)
