brake control

I am installing brake control on my '99 silverado c 1500 and am having trouble making wire colors match up coming out of the harness in the rear. I have brown for brake/running, green for right turn, yellow for left turn, white for ground leaving a light blue and light green. The blue I know I'm supposed to have but is the light green the same as the red hot wire? I do not have a red wire in the tow package harness. Also under the dash on the left side, where does the brake control pigtail plug hook into? Any ideas? thanks ozbo
