Power seat

I have a1999 Blazer ZR2, about a month ago the power seat (drivers side) quit working. I'm told to check the circuit breaker which is located in the fuse panel left side of the dash. I opened the fuse panel and no circuit breakers. To my understanding there should be two in the fuse box, one for my power seat and one for my power windows. I've spent time under my dash and nothing either....anyone have any idea where these two circuit breakers are or any other ideas as to why my seat wont work

Maybe under the hood in the fuse/relay box? I've got a 99 Bravada and there's all sorts of stuff in that box under the hood, so I'd assume that your Blazer would be similar. Never checked to see if there was power seat stuff in there though.

Are you sure they are not in there? They are bigger than the fueses and are made of metal, silver in color.

Positive, the only thing in there is the main fuses.... Big 30+ amps, and some relays. So back to square one Thanks though

From my experience I would be checking the wires going to and under the carpet to the seat, they are prone to corrode and break down...they are orange in color...seems that all HOT are orange in that harness so you wil have to check the continuity in each one to find the correct ones..the moisture and pressure from your feet wear at these wires..good luck

Yes, before finding the relays and circuit breakers pull out the seat and test for power at the wiring connector under the seat. If there is power there then it could just be a problem with the switch or the motor in the seat. Actually I do recall one time that mine quit working, I pulled the seat out and checked all the wiring and cleaned it all real good. To my surprise after I put it back they started working once again.
