Sponsorship!

Ok I know many of you guys think you shouldn't have to pay anything if you get sponsored right? For a FULL sponsorship that's the way it should be. However there are sponsorship agencys out there that are very good. I'm currently sponsored through carsponsorships.com for decalkits (full)and blaupunkt. The 89 fee has so far been very well worth it! As a quasi(partial)sponsor I've gotten a blaupunkt head unit that is soo new the guy at the audio shop didn't even know it was out yet, plus the fact that it was over 1/2 off was great too. Even though blaupunkt may not be the best I'm getting my entire system piece by piece for less than 300 bucks!!!!(headunit(plays cd/mp3, motorized fold out face), 6.5"component set, 5.25" coaxials for rear sides, and 6x9s in the hatch area all of which is the top of the line stuff they make! Overdrive series) I'm tired of people saying you should never pay to be sponsored, well quite frankly, a portfolio of shows you've attended/won and a page or two about yourself, and what you plan to do/already have done to your car just doesn't work! So please stop bitching that you can't get sponsored, I told both companies up front that my car was in need of a paint job and 2 new front seats & neither would happen till the end of the year, and I got sponsored! All you have to do is fill out the apps on the website!
