Gotta be Star Wars, baby! A lot of people (not me, but there ya go....) like both, but any way you slice it, Star Wars (especially episode IV) is just the biggest and greatest.

They are both as good as each other.
Star wars is much more action, but Star Trek has a better overall storyline (i think) behind it.

I think both shows characters are equally as good as each others, there isn't a huge difference between them. The old shows had bad acting, the new ones have alot better acting.

I think the Starwars script is very good, espically compared to some star trek episode scripts (espically voyager). But overall star trek has a better storyline (hell its got something like 700 years of storyline, as they even include people from the 27th century)

The ships are quite even, Star wars has some impresive ships like the battlecruisers and the death star. Star Trek's ships are good too, such as the Voyager, it could kick the arse of most star wars ships.

But the biggest gun has too go to the Death Star, nothing can compete with that!!

But I like both!

Star wars has probably the best storyline of any series of movies out there. Most people think it's about Anakin's/Darth Vader's rise, fall, and redemption. It's your classic good vs evil, light vs dark movie. Also, if you're that type, you can read deeper into star wars movies (i.e. religious undertones)... yes I ama star wars nerd... Yes, I am 19 and have an obi wan lightsaber (hard to get) from episode II.

Are we talking the orignal star trek or the next generation, because there is a HUGE difference between the two.

Re: STAR WARS vs STAR TREK

While I like Star Trek - the following is true and the reason why I like Star Wars better.

In Star Wars the weapons are almost never set on "Stun"

Im the minority here.

I definitly prefer Star Trek over Star Wars. I love the storylines, and its extremely well written (there are exceptions)

Dont get me wrong tho, I still like Star Wars.
