Exclamation Can u clean a sundammaged headlight

everytime i look at my car i the first thing that catches my eye is my headlights. is there a way to fix sun damage or do i have to buy new ones? is there a way i can just buy the lense covers

do you mean like the opaque look that old headlights get. if that's it then the answer it sort of. You can buff the headlights with rubbing compound and the glaze them and they will get a little better but the will still have a tinge of opaqueness (i know it's not a word). hopw that helps.

naw like my my headlights look like they are scrathed up but its just hella sun dammage like fogged, is there a way i can just replace the screen of the headlight

If it bothers you that much and its the first thing that catches your eye when you look at your car, then maybe you should buy some headlights that are totally badass so you splooge in your pants everytime you look at them.

heres a solution... reverse ur car into ur driveway so everytime u get outta ur house, u see the taillights first n not your fogged up headlights

nah, take your headlight lense cover off, and wet sand the front and back of the headlight cover lense with a 800 grit, then a 1000 grit and then a 1200 grit and then use the rubbing compound and at the end, wax. use an orbital round sander/mouse sander. Post some pictures once ur done, so we can get sum examples on the site.
