Exclamation 86 Towncar accident...i need help

I was in a wreck earlier today when i had to dodge a car and hit a light pole. I was goin about 40 mph when i slammed on the brakes. I figure i was goin atleast 20 mph when i hit it.

I'm so impressed that my towncar, which i call tank now, was hardly hurt at all. But it won't start, when i turn the ignition it sounds like it wants to turnover. The cops told me its probably the emergency fuel cut off switch.

Dose anyone know where this magical switch is? Is it as simple as pressing a button? That would make my day, but untill i fix it i can't go to college or work.

I'll be glad to give anyother details. Thanks for any replies.

It should be on the drivers side of the trunk near above the gas tank. Near the antenna.

My '89 ---it is mounted on the drivers side hinge bracket for the trunk lid. It is a square black box somewhat in the range of size of a packet of cigarettes--in very plain view. There will be a white button type pushy thing on it. Yes, to reset it, you push in that button.
