My CD player doesn't work!!

I have a question. I was listening to a CD, a burnt CD, and I took it out of my car CD player and tried to put another one in, but now my CD player says, "Check CD". It acts like there is something in my player, a cd or something, but there isn't. It won't read any of the CD's that I put into it. I bought a lens cleaner and that didn't work, it wouldn't even read it.
I don't know anything about cars at all, I just a silly girl, but this one even stumped my car guy friends that I told. Please help me!!!!

If it was mine I would either disconnect the battery or unplug the radio to reset it. Its definitly strange, but im sure not unheard of.

Re: My CD player doesn't work!!

yeah thats what i was thinking. It would probably be easier to disconnect the battery as opposed to taking the cd player out to disconnect it.
