Help!!! Check Engine Light Blinking

I have a 1999 Isuzu Rodeo with about 96,000 miles on it. I haven't even had the car for a year and have had nothing but problems with it. The first being the fact that the CEL light stayed on and the car was stalling while I was driving it. So, I took it in and had to get the intake manifold gasket fixed. Since then it has run great. The CEL light has come on every now and then but eventually goes off. Now, just as of today, I went to back out of a parking spot and noticed that when i lightly pressed on the gas, the car seemed to be jerky, almost to where it felt like It was going to die. So, I continued to drive home and noticed it didn't do this once I was accelerating at a steady speed or when I breaked, only when I began to slowly accelorate. As it was doing this I noticed that my CEL light was blinking, which has never happened since I got the car. Any clue as to what this could be? I'm a clueless girl who doesn't know much about cars and could use some advice as to where to take it from here....Thanks~~~~~~

You should be able to take it to Autozone or Schucks or some other national brand auto parts store and they can read the computer codes for you for free. Then you can take it to a good shop for repairs and at least have some idea of what they should be doing to the car. You can even post the codes here and we can give you, somewhat, of an idea of whats going on.

What type of maintaince has been done on it?

Ever change the plugs?

Clean out the EGR?
