I'm Soooo Screwed!

Friday night I was out partying with some of my friends and getting drunk and high and all sorts of other shit well I'll spare the details of the night up until about 11:30P.M. and while me and two of my friends were riding around trying to find a party I was going about 70 in a 40 MPH zone and I come around a curve and all I see is a huge fucking roadblock sitting about 75 feet in front of me. I come literally sliding up to the cop and I'm sitting there with a dime sac in my pocket and a single budweiser in the car and an empty can in the car, my other friend has a quarter sac in his pocket and my third friend that was with us was only 17 and he didn't have shit anyways but me and my friend are 18 but anyways I handed the cop my licence and insurance and he doesn't even look at them he simply told me to pull up in front of his car and cut the car off, so I done as I was told and about 5 seconds after I turned off the car I was out of the car slammed on the hood and was being put in handcuffs. If that isn't enough then he searches me and finds my weed and then searches the car and finds the beer and empty can, he then searches the other two and doesn't find shit, but the other friend thats 18 got charged with Posession of alcohol because of the empty can and I get fucking tagged with: Posession of Marijuana 2nd degree, Minor being in Posession of Alcohol, D.U.I., and to top it all off Contributing to the Deliquency of a Minor (because of the 17 year old). They took me and the other 18 year old guy to jail and released the younger one to his parents, after me and the other guy got booked in and shit guess what he pulls out, that damn quarter sac while we were sitting in the holding cell, what pissed me off about it was that he had it in his shoe the whole time. Another fucked up thing is that when we got to the holding cell it was like a freaking gradeschool reunion for me! So how bad do yall think I'm fucked on this one.

It may help considering that this is my first offense as an adult and they did NOT read me my rights, one thing that will kill me in court is if they look back at my juvenile records I just got out of a six month long rehab/bootcamp situation only on August 30, 2005

I didn't do all of this in the course of one night, I did this in a course of FIFTEEN MINUTES IF THAT LONG!!! Now they kept us until 8:00A.M. that morning.

you'll probably get your license suspended for a year and get a couple hundred hours of community service and have to complete another treatment program. They can give you jailtime, but I don't think they will, if they do it will be brief (less than a month). You'll also get probably a year or 2 of probation and a suspended jail sentance if you violate your probation (for example, you'll get 9 months for violating your probation if you violate it FOR THESE CRIMES on top of penalties for the crime which caused you to violate your probation).

You said when I talked to you a few months ago that you quit doing that shit, apparently you're either a liar or you have really weak willpower. I would also get rid of the stolen car in your yard if I were you.

If you want to party stay home..once you got behind the wheel, you became everyones problem.
What if that was my family around that turn in the road and you hit them and killed them and your friends?
You would spend the rest of your life looking over your shoulder wondering when I was going to pop up and take back what you took from me...and that is after you spend time with big bubba in jail, the only thing you will be smoking there is big dicks.
Like I said, you want to party, stay home and be stupid.....

I'm not gonna harp on teh bad decisions, because to be honest, nobody is perfect, and I know plenty of people that have done the same.

Bottom line, now is the time to start looking for a damn good lawyer. Those are things you want to get out of and off your record...and a decent lawyer will be the only one to do that for you. I have friends who have been nailed for worse and still have thier licenses. But bottom line, this is going to cost you thousands of $$, and possibly your license...best of luck.

Thats pretty much what i was going to say. No one is perfect but atleast use common sense.

Hey man i love parties. When i go to a drinkin party im usually lit. However if i know i have to drive i wont drink. It aint worth it to me. I love my life to much to drink and then drive. i dont smoke weed anymore so. But yea dude you need to learn some common sense. Im only 20 years old so you cant say that im much older than u. But i have more common sense than that. Not to mention you said you just got out of juvi, damn wtf were u thinking. I lost a buddy of mine due to drinking and driving. Dude due the world a favor dont drive after youve been drinking and smoking you could kill someone.
On the point of your case your fucked. You better find yourself a damn good lawyer cuz if not your gonna be bubba's bitch.
