Re: jesus look at the size of the wheels!

Those are prototype 40" wheels from a few years ago. Just a show car, I believe the tires are not functional. You can even see the window sticker.

I hope that is not true. That looks horrible either way. And I don't think the window sticker proves anything. UGH!! The wheels stick out like 2 inches from the body!

That's a photoshop. I've seen the original; the truck was sporting 26" wheels, circa 2001-2002.

Re: Re: jesus look at the size of the wheels!

has anyone looked at the website with more pics of those weird cars?

there are some "vanning" vans as the ones u can get from Aoshima, some stretched limo's including a Delorean and a Corvette, a beetle covered in plastic bottle caps, and a few ordinary cars converted into 4x4's

here are few more pics:-
Probe offroad

Audi A4 pick-up

Corvette limo

Re: jesus look at the size of the wheels!

I can't believe some people still think the 40" shot is real. Look at the area between the spokes of the nearest wheel. You should be able to see part of the wheel on the other side. But nope, just ground and the white lines don't even align. You could probably find a dozen other things suss about it if you cared to look deeper. Even at that low resolution - a poor effort.

Re: jesus look at the size of the wheels!

I agree with Phil. Look at the opposite side of the car. The wheels on the driver side are different.

It's really bad that so many people still fall for bad chops anywhere you go on the net.
