Sportlines and Gr-2s

Hi I am debating on what combo of springs/shocks/struts to go with right now but here's my question. Would the Gr-2s work with the sportlines if I'm not particular (sp?) about adjustability. What do you think and/or has anyone had success with this setup?

i dont know how the gr-2s are but i have the kybs and sportlines. i highly recomend them you will really like being able to tighten it up for a night of hard cornering and then turn it all the way down for a long trip.

I have a set of GR-2's and I don't like 'em. They're cheap for a reason.

Yeah, kyb agx and eibach sportlines is the way to go, that is what I have also got the kyb's for 60$ each about a year or so ago from JC whitney, not sure what they are running now. Im pleased with the ride over all, the worst aspect of my ride has to do with the 40 series tires, getting rid of those soon. As far as adjustability, its nice but nothing dramatic, I just set them all to 2 once I tryed out all the other positions and haven't changed them since.

I think you should wait till you have money to do it right. I have ridden in cars with gr-2's (96 acc coupe), tokico illuminas (94 gsr), and koni yellows (94 hatch). From this comparison, you do get what you pay for. The worse ride i encounted was in the kyb equipped car, and the best was in the car with the konis. The tokicos were not bad neither, and closer compared to the konis than the kybs. IMO you should wait and do it right the first time, because if you don't you'll prob gonna regret it and end up buyin better shox all over again.

Good luck man
Maurice
